Chapter Fifty

Zayn

I came to the Blue Moon Pack knowing that one way or another there would be a battle. Alpha Edward has no backbone or else he wouldn't need rogues to do his dirty work while he remains in the shadows like a pitiful fuck.

I walked to my car slowly giving the mother fucker a chance to attack so I could tear his throat out. I've seen his warriors fight they wouldn't stand a chance against us. Brian is one of the strongest warriors I've ever met and the last time we were in battle Jason fought full throttle. I was sure he had rogues stationed inside his territory hidden in the woods. I wasn't the least bit worried about battling them in fact I had purposely provoked him. Hopefully he is stupid enough to order an attack on us on our way back home it would definitely weaken the rogues and hopefully give me a chance to kill Kain. I have no idea what he looks like but he's their leader and we will be able to spot the leader easily. 

I was livid inside but I restrained myself I didn't want to attack him first I had already threatened his daughter and broken all ties with him and his pack. As we approached security at the entrance I was sure they would stop us but they did no such thing. My only concern was Hope and the rest of the pack members getting home safely.

While in my own thoughts I heard the sweetest voice in my head

Zayn my baby mind linked me. Hearing her voice put a smile on my face and calmed me down.

Yes, baby are you in school?

Yeah, where else would I be? Are you okay? I miss you

I miss you too baby I'm fine we're leaving the Blue Moon territory now. 

OK please be careful on your way back home I smile to myself at she's so adorable 

Always I love you

I love you too she replied with a sign

 

As I drove towards the spot where Matt and the rest of the warriors were positioned I spotted something peering at us from between the trees lurking in the forest, I huffed in repulsion. I was right the mother fucker does have rogues living on his grounds. 

"Zayn step on it the closer we are to the warriors the better" Brian warned as he looked outside his window he had caught sight of them too. I hit the gas pedal

I tried to mind link Alex but couldn't get through to him. What the fuck. I was just mind linking Hope.

"Someone is fucking with my mind link I can't get through to Alex"

"Same here I can't get through to Hope" Her dad said

"I just linked her a few minutes ago but I can't now"

"The bastard is using witch craft to stop us from mind linking it's old magic this proves he is dabbling with witches and sorcery."

 I took out my phone and speed dialed Alex he answered right away

"Is everything okay?" I barked out

"Yes they should be coming out any minute now I'm waiting for her right outside"

"We won't be able to mind link you guys at all keep an eye out Alex! Make sure all our pack members stay close together on the way home. Get her home safe get them all home safe"

"Don't worry I'll have them home soon you stay focused she'll be fine" Alex assured me. I could feel my adrenaline rush 

I called Matt "Matt be prepared for battle I'm almost there." 

"Zayn the Red Blood Moon Pack sent over their warriors to battle by our side" 

So our allies must have agreed to cut all ties with the Blue Moon Pack. The Red Moon Pack is closest to this area and Alpha Axel is one of my personal friends.

"He must be an idiot to try and surge and attack on us right now" Jason said

"He is an idiot I wouldn't put it past him" Brian answered as he started taking off his jacket getting ready to shift. 

I quickly swerved off to the side of the road where Matt and our warriors were stationed waiting. As soon as I parked I quickly took off the watch Hope got me for my birthday and put it in the glove compartment I didn't want it breaking when I shifted. We jumped out and ran for the woods. As I ran through the unfamiliar woods I quickly picked up the scent filthy rogue I was coming for blood. I saw Matt standing by Axel and they both approached me 

"Alpha Zayn my men have been ordered to follow your command" Axel extends his hand and I shake it. Jason joined the warriors 

"They are close" Brian said 

"Yes Indeed they are" Axel looks around "Their scent is hard to miss"

I walked over to face the warriors "I have faith in every one of you I want every one of those rogue fuckers dead" I yelled out to the warriors.

"Fight hard and we will eliminate the threat. I want their leader Kain alive." As soon as I bellowed those words all the warrior werewolves growled out loud. They were showing their respect and thirst for blood.

I heard howls and Hunter growled in anticipation as I shifted when a huge pack of rogue wolves came running towards us. I suspected that Edward was counting on killing me by outnumbering us that made me smirk. Happy hunting I thought to myself as I opened my jaw and bit down into my first kill. 

 

Hope

I couldn't focus in all my classes today I wanted to get home and 

Alex was waiting outside as usual but he seemed a little bit on edge. He mind linked all our pack members to meet by my car.

"We stay close together until we enter our borders Alpha's orders. Be on the lookout for any threat once we get home do not leave pack grounds until the Alpha and warriors return." 

"What's going on?" Emily asked

"Nothing to worry about just taking precautions"

"I'll drive in front, Luna you, Emily, April and a warrior in your car right behind me and Eric rides with you also, then in Derek's car, Amy and 2 warriors right behind Luna. And behind Derek our warriors. Split up like I asked please"

I got in my car with a warrior in the passenger seat while Emily, April and Eric got in the back.

"Luna my name is Aaron would you like me to drive?"

"No Aaron thank you though"

As soon as Alex pulled out I pulled out after him then Derek and the warriors were last. I tried mind linking Zayn but I couldn't reach him. 

"Alex why can't I reach him?" 

"He's fine I promise he'll be home soon"

Aaron and Eric kept their windows open I knew what was happening but I wasn't scared I felt the need to protect everyone even though they were trying to protect me. 

Jenna try to reach out to Hunter 

I can feel his connection but can't reach out to him. She sounded so sad 

Jenna I'm so happy I have you now we have to be strong

Zayn

My heart was beating erratically as I raced through the rogues like a killing machine. I wanted their leader Kain. We had killed so many wolves and we were still going strong. Their number had been reduced and now the warrior werewolves formed a tight circle around the filthy rogues that were left. I entered the circle and walked slowly up to the tallest and biggest one he immediately put his down. Kain wasn't here. Axel entered the circle and we took out the remaining pitiful rogues. I took a quick look around at the aftermath of our gruesome battle the ground around us looked like a fucking bloodbath. 

 Axel and I looked around for casualties only to find several severely injured. All our warriors both from the Red Blood Moon Pack and my pack fought gallantly I stood proud looking around me. Everyone howled in victory. 

Most of us shifted where we took off our clothes and started moving towards our vehicles.

Brian patted my back "Too bad we didn't get Kain"

"I will get him one way or another, what a coward he must be to send his wolves out to battle alone. They were doomed from the start" Brain started making his way to the car I am still blown away by his strength most werewolves his age lose some of their stamina but he's a killer. 

I said goodbye to Axel after I thanked him for his support and invited him to our pack to discuss our next move over dinner tomorrow night. He insisted on us going to his pack to get cleaned up but I had to go home to her. I missed her like crazy. He agreed to come for dinner the next day and we were all on our way.

I had Matt drive to my hotel an hour away and take the helicopter back home. Brain and some warriors went with him. I wanted nothing more than to hurry home to her but I couldn't do that to Matt and the warriors who went with him were injured badly. I drove all the way back home It wasn't too bad I just missed my baby so much.

Hope

When I heard the helicopter I thought for sure it was Zayn I ran over like my life depended on it but it wasn't him. I hugged my father and Matt 

"Don't worry he'll be here soon" Matt told me. 

He had some injuries nothing too serious I was happy my father wasn't injured too much. Mom tried to make him go home right away so she could take care of him but he insisted on seeing the Alpha first and waiting for Zayn to get back safely. I made sure everyone was okay and escorted two severely injured warriors to the hospital and stayed with them for a little while to make sure they were well. 

My mind was going crazy I needed to see him so without telling anyone where I was going I ran. I ran as fast as I could my heart beating fast and my breathing erratic to the main gates. The security saw me coming

"Luna are you okay?" 

"Yes I'm fine" Is all I said. 

Zayn

Finally I could see our territory! I don't know how fast I was going. When we neared the main gates my breath hitched when I saw her. She was waiting for my arrival. As soon as she saw me she ran towards me. I opened the door and jumped out taking her in my arms. Heaven.
