Chapter Forty Three(Mature Content)

Tomorrow is my eighteenth birthday it has been a stressful 2 days since Zayn and I slept together because he didn't use protection the second time and I've been going insane.

Zayn said that my wolf will be able to tell as soon as she gets in touch with me which I'm hoping is at midnight tonight. 

He's been away since yesterday on a business trip I think if he were here I would be a lot calmer. Before he left he took me to see the doctor and she was pleased at how fast my head and neck had healed.

He made me promise not to leave the pack territory until he got back, which was already almost impossible since the security guards have orders not to let me out alone. That is something that has to end as soon as Zayn returns tonight. I can't wait to see him. I miss him so much he asked me to come with him but I wanted to spend time with my parents since I won't be with them on my birthday. 

I still hate being in the house alone it brings back memories of the day I was attacked and unless Zayn is with me I have been having nightmares at night. Last night after he finished his meetings I video called him and we kept talking until I fell asleep. The doctor said the nightmares will go away as soon as I get in touch with my wolf.

The good thing is I will be back in school on Monday even though Zayn doesn't like it but it's my choice and I threatened not to have sex with him until I go back to school. Yeah I know that was a little dramatic but there's no way I'm going to be home schooled for my last couple semesters. 

My grandparents all left yesterday after I came back from seeing the doctor. I promised them that Zayn and I would visit each of them soon.

Emily, April, Amy and Cara are all I'm in my room hanging out while I pack for my weekend in Paris with Zayn. They also gave me my birthday gifts a day early because I won't be here tomorrow. They over did it with birthday gifts from sexy lingerie, to jewelry, designer bags and clothes. We were all getting along great with Cara too it felt like she was born in this pack like the rest of us. Soon Derek and Eric come over and mom brought up all kinds of snacks for us before she and dad left.

"Are you guys going out tonight? I ask

"Yes we need to get Jason laid he's been so annoying lately" Derek laughs and fist bumps Eric.

"He's never had a problem with getting girls" I say

"Yeah except the one girl he wants and can never have." I pray they don't mean me 

"What about me and Emily we want some?" Amy says 

"Great you guys should hook with Jason" They all laugh

"Goddess no! I have my mind on someone tonight" Emily says 

"Where are you guys going anyway?" I ask looking at Derek

"There's another party" I miss going out with them.

"You guys prom is coming up" Emily says

"Don't remind me I have to convince Zayn to go with me because obviously I can't go with anyone else and there's no way I'm missing prom."

My phone rings and April hands me it "It's Jason"

"Hey stranger" I answer as I walk out my room and head downstairs

"Hey Hope can I see you? I heard you're leaving tomorrow"

"Well just for the weekend yea, where have you been I haven't seen you since I got attacked?"

 "I've been here you haven't been to school that’s why but I wanted to see you before you leave tomorrow and since the Alpha isn't here I thought we could hang out"

"Yea of course we're at my house come by and you know even if he were here you're my friend we can hang out." I started looking through the fridge for nothing in particular 

"I'd rather not come up there and I want to see you alone" I stopped what I was doing

"Is everything ok Jason?"

"Yeah why wouldn't it be? 

"I have to finish packing then go out to pick up a few things but I'll be back in school on Monday." 

 He stays quiet than says "I'm outside your house"

"OK I'll come down for a few minutes" I put my phone down and walk out without saying anything to the rest.

As soon as I open the door I'm shocked by Jason's appearance he looks huge. He cracks a smile at me 

"Hey" I came closer and hugged him Jason and I have been friends for as long as I can remember I care a lot for him.

"I never got a chance to thank you, Emily said you saved me" He's looking down 

"You don't have to thank me" He looked up at me reluctantly "You know you're one of my best friends " I smiled at him

"How are you feeling?"

"Great"

"So you'll be back on Monday?" he asked looking everywhere but not at me.

"Yes I can finally go back to school" he just nods

"I got you something for your birthday" He said as he handed me a box

"Thanks I'm surprised you remembered since you didn't bother come to visit me in the hospital or call me."

"I wanted to come see you but I was busy… and there's no way I'd forget your birthday. The whole pack house is buzzing about your birthday it's not every day our Luna turns eighteen."

"Open it"

I opened the box "It's so pretty thank you" I hugged him again real quick

"Let me help you put it on" It's a bracelet with three charms on it one is a female wolf the other is a male wolf and the third charm is full moon. It's beautiful.

"Luna" I heard Alex call me as he walked over

"I guess I'll see you later Hope" Jason said and walked away

"Hi Alex" He's stared at Jason walk away "You ok?'

"Yeah I wanted to ask if you needed me to take you anywhere for your trip tomorrow?"

"No I'm good thank you Alex"

I went back in and everyone was getting ready to leave. I finished packing and made sure I had everything I would need for my trip then got dressed and went up to the pack house. It was already getting dark and just like every other time I walked alone I felt like someone was watching me. 

I still haven't told anyone about the note in my locker I have it in my dresser. If I tell anyone about it I will be home schooled for sure.

I walk into the private living room where my parents, Zayn's parents and brothers are all seated. The sound of the burning fireplace gave my favorite room an even cozier ambiance. 

We are all sitting around the dining table but I wasn't feeling too hungry. I felt alone without Emily and Zayn. Everyone was talking about one thing or another when I heard the sexiest voice 

"Sorry I'm late" I got up off the table and jumped into his arms I couldn't care less that my parents and all his family were watching. He wrapped his arms around me and spun me around then kissed me softly.

"Jeez you guys have been apart for one day" Kyle teases

We have dinner with both our families Zayn fills my plate with everything I love and I finally start eating "Looks like someone got their appetite back suddenly" Matt laughs
