Chapter Ten (mature content)

Hope

It's Monday just like every other Monday, I get up early, get ready for school and after breakfast Emily and Amy pick me up and we ride to school together. They ask all kinds of questions about Zayn and I. I love my friends but they are nosey! To get them off my back I tell them that Zayn is a great kisser. 

"ewwww I don't want t hear it" Emily almost screams then doesn't ask about us again.....objective achieved!

 "What happened to you at the party?", Emily now asks Amy. 

"I hooked up with the new guy" she says smiling. They keep talking about the party until we get to school. As I walked in I notice people looking at me and some bowing their heads when I pass them. They must be in our pack or allies of our pack maybe, I think to myself. 

We meet April, Eric, Jason and Derek by the lockers and I'm bombarded with questions again. 

"Everything's ok guys", I say with a smile across my face.

 "I know that smile", April says, "Spill... what happened?" Emily walks away closing her ears. 

"Guys nothing happened" I say walking away to my first class. 

"We'll see you guys at lunch." Eric says as he takes April's hand and they walk away. 

Derek, Jason, Emily and I all have the same class first period.

 "What happened at the borders last night?" I ask "What are you talking about ?" Derek asks

I tell them about the problem at the border late last night and they look surprised. Well all except Jason. 

"Did you know?" I ask looking at him. 

"No, I didn't but that must be why Alpha Zayn was in a bad mood this morning." he pauses for a second, "well not that I've ever seen him in a good mood." They laugh but I'm left wondering why he was in a bad mood....I woke up in an extra good mood today. 

 My classes fly by and it's now lunch time, we all walk towards the cafeteria and a few girls ask me if I want to sit with them "Thanks" I say not being able to focus on anything today.

 I make my way to the vending machine to get a cold ice tea. Gavin walks up to me 

"Hey Hope" I can already see some cheerleaders glaring at me.

 "Hi" I smile at him then go back to getting my drink. 

"Listen about what happened ...I was wasted and I'm sorry if I said or did....." 

I cut him off, "Oh no you didn't, don't worry about it" I say not wanting to make him uncomfortable. 

"Me and a couple of friends followed you guys" I look at him confused 

"Why?" I ask. 

"Well you left the party so fast and I wanted to talk to you some more, my friends wouldn't let me drive my car after you so they came with me." He pauses looking at me waiting to see what I might say then he continues, "You guys were driving too fast and I think we lost you, then some guys stopped us they said we were trespassing on private property. It was so weird they came out of nowhere."

 "That does sound weird" I say 

"Anyway, do you want to hang out after school....I want to spend some time with you getting to know you better" he asks with too much confidence 

"I'm sorry, I can't"

 "Oh ok well maybe some other time?" he asks

 "Maybe" I give him a small smile and walk away to where my friends and I usually sit. 

I tell them about Gavin following us and Derek says, "Well now we now why the Alpha was in a bad mood this morning." 

At the end of the day I walk out to the parking and there are two of our pack warriors waiting for me.

 One of them approaches me, "Hi Luna, Alpha Zayn sent us to take you home." he takes my bag and waits for me to walk to Zayn's car

 "I'm going home with Emily"

 "Luna, the Alpha gave us orders", he says but takes out his cell phone and I know who he's going to call....

 "Alpha she wants to go home with you sister" I hear him say before Amy comes out, 

"We have training in less than two hours, where's Emily?" We have mandatory training with Matt and Kyle after school two times a week, well at least I do. Emily and April train more because they already turned 18.

 "We will follow behind you guys" the guy says after he hangs up. I cannot believe Zayn sent two bodyguards to pick me up from school. This is too much!

Emily doesn't notice anyone following us until we are almost on our territory. 

"Zayn sent them to make sure we get home safely" I say annoyed. She doesn't say anything. I get off at my house and tell them I'd meet them at training. I don't like to eat until after training so I go lay down in my room until it's time to get ready. I take out my cell phone thinking if I should call Zayn, he hasn't called me or sent me any message all day and he could have picked me up from school himself rather than sending someone.

I pick up one of my Novels and read until it's time to get ready. I wear my black leggings and black sports bra with a zip up hoodie and white training shoes and head up to the pack house training grounds. I get there only to find a few pack members there with Kyle. The girls like to come out early so they get a chance to talk to him and his brother. He comes up to me smiling, we talk and laugh while waiting for everyone else. He is so nice and easy to get along with. 

Soon everybody else is there and Matt finally shows up, I'm still standing with Kyle and Emily. 

Matt comes over "Hope, Zayn said to go meet him in his office." 

I don't ask any questions, I go inside the mansion and stop when I hear dads voice from the living room area. I walk in there and he's in there with mom, the alpha and Luna. I say hi to everyone 

"Hi princess" dad greets me, I kiss him and mom on the cheek and a hug the Luna and Alpha. I hear someone clear his throat, Zayn walks in and for a second my heart stops. He looks so gorgeous. 

"Hi" I say a bit nervous 

He walks over "Have you eaten?"

 "No, I don't like to eat before training" our parents are looking at us with smiles. 

"Let's go eat, you won't be training" he takes my hand "excuse us" he says to everyone and he leads me out to his office.
