Chapter 41 - Messenger

Did he have a habit of working shirtless, or was he just being lazy today?

Simply wearing a pair of dark green sweatpants and with still slightly messy hair, I was pretty sure he had woken and immediately jumped into work. He was sat at his desk typing away and I knew he could sense me arriving as he had that beautiful, goofy smile plastered on his face. He looked up from his work as I came around his desk to plant a loving kiss on his lips; which tasted of fresh mint, so at least he hadn't been completely gross.

"You having a super casual day in the office, Mr. Alpha?" I eyed him playfully.

"Aha, yeah" he rubbed the back of his neck "I just meant to check on something and it kinda snowballed."

"Have you even eaten?" I asked with a mock accusatory time.

"I'm fine, honestly" he tried to brush it off...did he seriously think I couldn't feel the slight pang of hunger through our bond now that I was next to him?

I sighed and left to go make him something, since he clearly wasn't going to look after himself.

'You angry with me?' his concerned voice filled my mind.

'No, you idiot' I laughed 'I'm making you breakfast and don't even argue...you know I win those.'

'Yes dear' I could hear the playful mockery in his tone.

'Make sure to fix him plenty, those muscles need a lot of feeding' August growled, almost shuddering with delight as she flashed images of his expansive chest...as though I needed a reminder.

I rolled my eyes at her horniness and got started on making him some homemade hash browns to go with the poached eggs layered on sausage patties and toasted bagels. With a steaming mug of hot, strong coffee in hand, I carried it all back through to the study; this time the smell of food drew his attention instantly.

I set his plate down, loving his delighted face.

"Damn, sweet, you're spoiling me here" he groaned as he took his first bite.

"Well someone needs to look after you, and it's clearly not you" I smiled as I pushed the wavy lock of dark hair from his forehead, while August preened in the back of my mind with us taking care of our male.

He insisted on feeding me a couple of forkfuls, even though I'd eaten as I cooked. I looked over from where I sat, perched on his desk at what he'd been doing while I was training...he'd been a very busy boy.

"How did you do all this?" I asked, looking at the long list of things already crossed off his list as he finished the last bites of his meal.

I stilled when I saw Kevin's name.

"What are you going to do with him?"

"I honestly haven't decided...he can't be released that's for sure…and I'm pretty sure he had a screw loose before the mate bond kicked in, judging by what was on his phone...he was definitely obsessed with Jude" Ethan held a rather disturbed expression as he spoke.

I was almost afraid to ask and as if sensing such, he answered.

"Trust me, you don't want to know. Jude warned me there'd be some personal stuff...but I don't think he knew the half of it. For now, Kevin is staying where he is under close supervision, possibly with some psychiatric treatment in the future…his parents are clearing out his room tomorrow"

From the content of messages and phone calls, Kevin had been truthful in his interrogation at least.

"Are you telling the pack? That he betrayed them?" I asked.

"Normally, yes. To make an example…but this is complicated. I've been in Jude's place and it sucks. I'll give him a few days and see what Jude wants said about all this, it involves his personal life" he sighed heavily "this is where I wish my dad was here, to tell me if I'm doing the right thing" he sounded so unsure of himself, as his hands circled my waist and he rested his head against my chest.

Didn't he know how amazing he had handled himself yesterday? How strong of an Alpha he was? And not just in physical strength, he evoked such respect from those around him. With that intense authority he oozed, it was easy to forget he barely had any guidance in any of this before he was shoved forcefully into its glare. That vulnerability he so comfortably showed to me alone just made me love him more.

"I don't think he could have been any prouder of you, I know that's how I feel...in fact, it was pretty hot, seeing you all in charge and in Alpha mode" I whispered as my hands lifted his jaw so I could look into his deep brown, almost obsidian eyes. 

"And here I thought you came along to help" he smirked a little, cocking his brow at me with still a hint of that vulnerable expression.

"It wasn't you that needed my help last night...but maybe I could help you now, to relax a little" I hinted with a playful doe-eye look, knowing exactly what it did to him.

I pushed him back onto his chair with my bare foot, loving the slight startle on his face, his darkening eyes, how he swallowed with difficulty and how he gripped the arms of his chair to steady himself. I slipped my thin sweater over my head, leaving me in my tight leggings and athletic bra and unzipped the front fastening just enough to keep it in place. My breasts and cleavage may have been small but they still held his attention as I slowly stood and straddled his lap, resting my hands on the hot skin of his chest with my fingers playing through the coarse, dark hair.

He smiled wildly, those dimples looking more enchanting every time I saw them. I could see him gauging where this would hopefully be going and I could feel his length growing quickly in excitement, adding to my own; he definitely wasn't wearing underwear under his pants…good, makes my task a lot easier to access.

He laughed gently as his hands circled my waist again, his thumbs drawing circles against my exposed skin.

"How bad you gonna claw me up this time?" his eyes flashed mischievously.

Even though I could feel my cheeks pinkening at the memories of how I had gotten a little carried away last time, I still tried to keep my voice filled with confidence "we'll see. Just because I'm still learning doesn't mean I have to be shy."

I surged forward sealing his lips with my own, swallowing both our moans and his groan as I ground my hips to his. His hands slipped lower to my ass, his fingers tightening on my flesh, urging my movements harder, faster. My lips moved along his spiky cheeks and jaw, settling on my mark that rested on his neck, tempting me to sink my teeth into it again and the deep exhaling groan that rumbled through his chest had my canines aching to come forward...I needed to rein August in.

'Not yet...just wait' I promised her as she growled in anticipation.

I kissed my way down his chest, breathing in his peppery citrus scent that had a distinct musky edge the more excited he became. I slipped off his lap, kneeling between his legs pulling his hips forward just a little so I could have full access to every inch of him hiding not so subtly under that soft fabric. I pulled his waistband down slowly, keeping my eyes on his, amused by how I could still tease him. His member sprang free, already glistening heavily begging me to taste him. My fingers traced his V-lines, teasing him just that little bit more as my lips sat barely a breath away from his tip, his body started to shiver in suspense. Putting him out of misery, I took all of him fully as far as I could before I felt the gagging feeling kicking in. It was only my second time doing this so I still couldn't take him as far as I wanted yet and with his appendage being as big and thick as it was, it was a struggle to get him in my mouth. As my lips and tongue worked him up, his groans became louder along with my name as he called out coming closer to his release. His hips had started to gently thrust against my mouth and his hands slipped into my hair, holding it back so he could watch me work. I felt how his lower half tensed and shuddered as he came hard down my throat while I kissed him clean.

Even though his breathing was still uneven and ragged, he grasped me, pulling me up to his lap and smashing his lips to mine and claiming my tongue as I loved. He stood and placed me on the edge of his desk as he stripped his sweatpants off fully, turning his attention to my barely contained chest. 

"This is in the way" he whispered against my jaw as his fingers grazed between the valley of my breasts, tugging the zip down the remaining inch and slipping the straps over my shoulders. His fingers grazed further towards my leggings, slipping them down my thighs and off my legs. I felt him still as his fingers stopped on where the bruise still swirled.

"Who the hell did this? Did someone attack you?!" he practically growled…and I couldn't lie and say that sound didn't turn me on harder.

"It was just from training. When you mind-linked me I got distracted. It doesn't hurt, I'm fine" I tried to reassure him.

"Carrick shouldn't have pushed you so hard…" he started, but I cut him off.

"Yes he should. This is exactly why you said you wouldn't train me, because you can't push me as I need. And I know for a fact you do worse to your sparring opponents" I challenged, raising a brow at him "now stop overthinking and take me…"

I circled my legs around his hips and pulled him forward, meeting his hips with my own and groaning as his member thrust straight to its target. He laid me back fully against the cool wood of his desk, grasping my hands above my head.

'Hint taken' he mind-linked, as he thrust forward again much deeper this time making me gasp.

I lifted my hips to meet his, each thrust hitting deeper and deeper to the point I was trembling. He stopped briefly to release my hands and lift my legs over his shoulders, leaning back over me as his tip reached so deep I cried out in a mix of pain and immense pleasure.

'This ok?' he asked, possibly because he felt I might have been in discomfort.

'Goddess, yes!'

The pain I felt, it was different from anything I had felt before...I wanted more of it. It came with the most addictive and wonderful bliss I had felt yet...and Ethan was most definitely skilled in giving me bliss.

As my orgasm hit and my entire body shook, I managed to disentangle my legs from his shoulders to pull his chest flush with my own. My canines came forward as August pushed me to sink our teeth into our mate again. Ethan came violently, shuddering as his hips spasmed against mine. He rested his forehead against mine, his breaths and chest heaving in exertion. My wolf had become so possessive of both Ethan and Ezra this last week, I didn't even know it was possible to feel this level of want for another. 

"Was the first mark you gave me no good?" he smiled against my lips as he peppered them with kisses. 

"I think you drive August a little wild" I smiled back.

I looked at his desk, now in complete disarray "I hope I didn't mess your lists up" I chuckled at the chaos that laid around us.

He pulled me to sit as he stood between my legs, still buried within me "good thing I needed to reorganise anyway" he laughed.

He pulled out and without warning, he lifted me up and over his shoulder carrying me out of his office as I giggled from my new position.

'I think we better get you cleaned up' he mind-linked and I felt his smirk as he kissed my hip pressed against his cheek.

'Says the guy who didn't even get dressed today!' 

He sat me gently down on the sink counter while he turned on the taps to the bath and filled it with a wonderful fresh meadow scented bath bomb. 

He turned back to lift me down, his hand rubbing across the bruise on my leg "I thought you'd like a bath more…it'll help you heal better too."

"Is this your way of angling for an invite?" I smirked as I sat down into the deliciously hot water.

I held my hand out to pull him into the bath, settling him between my legs and wrapping my arms around his chest from behind.

"I need to notify the pack tomorrow...to let them know danger's coming. I need to let them know why, as in your full past. Is that ok?" he asked, turning slightly and stroking my cheek.

"Yeah...but what if they resent me for it...blame me? They've been so welcoming to me, what if they reject me as their future Luna for it?" 

The pack knew I had been a rogue and many knew about the attempted kidnapping...but none of them knew the true reasons as to why I had been a rogue and why I had been almost kidnapped.

"They won't. They'll want to protect you. They love you. I can feel it in the pack bond every time you enter a room. And anyone who does have anything to say about it will answer to me" he said with finite resolve.

I wished these moments never had to end. 

That we could just be safe.

But anything worth having was worth fighting for.Bonus
