Chapter 27 - Date

April

His sudden wide-eyed appearance told me he hadn't realised he said that out loud. He seemed to still for a second, worried at what my reaction would be. I knew he loved me, his actions had shown nothing but and he had almost admitted it once before. But it was one thing to feel it, it was another to actually hear it.

"I'm...sorry. I didn't mean it...I mean, I didn't mean to say it out loud!" he rushed out, floundering "I do mean it! You don't have to say it back, I know after everything and I'm still earning your forgiveness…" I placed my fingers gently over his lips to silence him.

He was adorable when he was awkward with worry, but this I didn't want to tease him about. My hand slipped up to cup his cheek, stroking the soft spikes of his stubble.

"I love you too, Ethan. Though, it is cute when you panic" I grinned.

His whole face transformed, that dimpled smile taking over. 

"You do?"

"Even though you made a total idiot of yourself...you're my idiot. And just so you know, you earned my forgiveness a while ago Mr. Alpha" I said while patting his cheek in amusement.

He kissed me suddenly, holding me so close I could barely breathe. I stroked my tongue against his, enjoying the pure bliss of his taste, his touch and soft but dominant growls rumbling from his chest. When our lips parted, I was thankful for his arms around me as I felt quite lightheaded. Those mate bond tingles could really do a number.

"You really forgive me?...So, you have been teasing me all this time" he challenged with a dangerous smirk that definitely made my insides squirm.

"Maybe" I replied coyly, turning to run playfully from him. 

I squealed in delight as his arm came around my waist, lifting me up and over his shoulder and making me laugh out.

"I think it's time we get you home, sweet. We'll see how you like my teasing when I get you in bed" he growled seductively.

He placed me gently in the car and quickly got in the driver's seat flooring it the short distance to the pack house. My seat suddenly felt very uncomfortable with his words and promise of what might happen tonight. It wasn't as though I had put this underwear on without a particular goal in mind.

Rushing up the staircase, we were halted in our steps, a little awkwardly, on the third floor by Jude kissing a man at his door, by the looks of it who was leaving his private suite.

"Oh...uhhh...hi guys?" Jude said, clearing his throat.

"A-Alpha, Luna" the poor guy looked equally red faced and embarrassed at being caught in a rather intimate moment.

I recognised him, Kevin if I remembered right, the kind man that helped me with my bags the other day. 

"Uhh...hey" my mate curtly greeted, not really knowing what else to say.

"Well this is awkward. I guess I'll see you later Kev?" Jude asked with a heated gaze, to which he nodded and went to leave quickly.

"Ummm, Kevin, thanks again for the other day" I called out to him.

He smiled, still a little pink cheeked "no problem Luna."

"Kev? Bryce says you've improved a lot, I think you've got a real shot on your next warrior application" Ethan called out to him before he left.

Kevin seemed to beam at that "thanks Alpha."

As he started to swiftly head down the stairs, obviously wanting to leave the compromising scene, Jude shouted out "yeah, we'll do some private sessions to get you in shape!" 

He didn't receive a reply, at least not an audible one.

"Jude! He was already embarrassed enough, you didn't need to add to it" I reprimanded. I was starting to think Ethan was right, some of these wolves did need a strong she-wolf to keep them in check. August practically preened at the abashed expression on the Beta's, she always liked it when we expressed our authority.

"Guess that's my ass told. Goodnight Luna, Ethan."

"Oh, so I don't even get a title now?" my mate grinned.

"You're not the one I'm scared of" Jude said, giving me a proud smile before heading back into his home.

I felt Ethan's hand tugging me back to the staircase 'don't think I've forgotten, sweet. We've still got date night to finish.'

After a third attempt at entering the code to our door, we practically fell through it. He hadn't parted our lips once and with the door closed, his hands slipped under my thighs, lifting me up and wrapping my legs around his waist. As I gasped, surprised by the action, his tongue slipped in to caress my own. His hands worked their way up to my ass where his fingers stilled, feeling my bare skin and toying with the silk ribbon of my underwear.

"I think someone had their own plans for how tonight was gonna go."

"Maybe" I whispered back in challenge.

My hands slipped under his jacket, sliding it off of his shoulders as his lips kissed down my jaw and nipped at my marking spot, igniting those colours once again in my vision. He carried me through to our bedroom, setting me down and moving to zip the side of my dress open. But I moved back, I wanted to see his face fully as I removed my dress to see what was underneath. I wriggled out of my dress a little, letting it slide down my figure, enjoying how my mate's eyes grew darker as his wolf became more excited. My bra was strapless in a sheer black material and green embroideries and matching green silk bow that held it closed at the front. My thong was the same material held in place with an identical bow at the back. One pull and both would fall away without effort. His barely contained growl told me his present was very much liked. I was still a little apprehensive about this, not because of doubt, but because I literally had no clue what I was doing. I didn't even know what to expect...or what it would feel like. I was in a strange position of being both considerably experienced in life and shockingly sheltered. But August's instincts with our mate hadn't let me down yet, she would guide me through this; I could feel her mentally nuzzling me for my trust in her.

"Well? I thought you were eager to get me in bed...and I'm hoping it wasn't to tuck me in" I said , trying to keep my voice composed and dampen down that prickling excitement that thrummed throughout my skin.

He surged forward, grasping me in his hold and crashing our lips together. I quickly ridded him of his vest and shirt, roving my fingers over his chest and playing with the hair that peppered his skin. I landed on the soft bed, watching as Ethan slowly stripped off the rest of his clothes. He climbed over me, caging me in his heat and arms. Unfortunately my nerves won out causing my teeth to chatter slightly and a shudder to weave through my limbs.

"Hey, you don't have to do this if you don't want to. I don't want you to feel pressured into anything" he whispered while stroking my face, calming me a little.

"I do. I'm just a little nervous, in a good way...I...I want you to mark me...but I don't know how you feel about that. With what happened with Maria, I don't want it to trigger an awful memory for you."

"Marking her was a mistake, not marking you would be the biggest regret I'd ever feel."

He kissed me sweetly, as I felt his fingers glide over my skin searching out the ribbon at my chest. He pulled back with that glorious dimpled smile looking down at me as he slowly undid the silk revealing my breasts to him.

'I really like this underwear. It's like unwrapping the best present ever' he mind-linked, flashing me his darkening eyes and devilish smirk.

He reached under me to undo the remaining ribbon, pulling away the thin fabric and exposing me fully beneath him. He kissed down my neck, paying special attention to my marking site and sending tiny convulsions ripping through my stomach. His lips lowered to each of my breasts, kissing, nipping and rolling my nipples around his hot tongue making my eyes squeeze tightly shut in the intense sensation. I moaned out loud as his fingers descended, entering me suddenly. His thumb circled my clit as he pumped my entrance, stroking my walls deliciously.

His fingers stopped all of a sudden as I was about to reach my peak, his voice drifted through my mind 'open your eyes, April. I want you to look at me, otherwise you're not getting what you want.'

My eyes snapped to him, confused.

'I hope all that teasing was worth it, sweet.'

I made my eyes open and meet his, desperately fighting the temptation to close them as his fingers returned to pleasuring me. As I was about to come, the temptation was too great as I panted his name.

"Ethan…Noooooo!" I snarled angrily as his fingers left me yet again just before I found my release.

"Eyes. Open. I can do this all night, April. But you are pretty cute when you're angry."

I felt a small scowl form on my lips as I begrudgingly complied with his demand and kept my eyes on his. The sensation was intense as his black eyes bored into mine and his fingers resumed their rhythm, building up my climax again. I fought every urge I had to close my eyes, keeping them fixated on him and his increasingly strong pace. I felt myself clench around him, my legs shaking and his name ripping from my throat. He cradled my body to his as I came down, snuggling my head into his chest. 

He rolled me onto my back, settling over me again, gripping my thighs to circle up high on his waist. I could feel his erect shaft nudging against my entrance with each small movement and breath of our bodies.

"This might hurt, if it's too much just say and I'll stop" he reassured as he stroked my cheek.

I nodded, not knowing what to expect and now a little anxious that it might be painful. His hips thrust forward, slowly entering me making me wince. I felt a slicing pain as he broke through a barrier, I couldn't help the whimper that escaped my lips. The fluttering of the mate bond helped to ease and comfort me, but he was right, it did hurt. He stilled once he was fully sheathed inside me, stroking my cheek, kissing my lips, anything he could to distract me from the pain. 

"You ok? Just tell me when you're ready" he whispered, as he trailed his nose against mine.

We laid there still for a few minutes until I felt the pain start to ease. I moved my hips a little, there was still a slight sting, but the increasingly strong tingles from the bond were overtaking the sensations.

'Ok' I smiled up at him, letting him know I was ready.

He leant his forehead against mine, cradling me in his arms as he withdrew his hips and gently plunged forward again. I inhaled deeply at the feeling of him filling me, a pleasurable pulse starting to overtake the sting. His movements were so tender and loving, not wanting to push me too much but I was starting to feel as though I wanted more...needed more.

'Ethan, I'm not going to break. I want more of you.'

'Anything you want, sweet. Move your hips up, like this.'

He grasped one of my hips pulling me up to meet his thrust, I moaned out loud at the feeling of him deeper, hitting a most sensitive spot.

He groaned too at the increased friction between us 'yeah...just like that' his voice felt strained even in my mind. 

I matched his rhythm, his hand lingering on my thigh and gripping my skin harder as his speed increased. Every thrust of his hips hit that wonderful spot deep within me making that pleasurable ball expand, wanting desperately to burst. I felt a familiar spasm I had experienced before, but more profound as though my very soul was calling out to his.

'Because it is, he needs to mark us, now!' August exclaimed.

"Mark me" I cried out, barely hanging onto his shoulders or keeping up with his wild pace.

Without missing a beat his hand gripped my hair pulling it to the side as his canines sank into the tender flesh of my neck. A white light and colours flashed fiercely across my vision as I shook violently in his arms, my thighs gripping his waist to mine with everything I possessed. I could feel his wolf and soul pour into my own, now permanently intertwined. His teeth left my mark and he licked the area, to seal his bite and wipe away any blood. The urge to do the same overtaking me, my wolf coming forward as well as my canines. As he had done, my fingers gripped his hair harshly, yanking his head to the side for me to sink my teeth deep into his skin, marking him as mine permanently forever. He cried out my name in guttural and feral roar as I felt him explode within me. I could feel part of myself leave, knitting itself with his own. I licked his mark, sealing him forever as mine, my mate.

Our breathing felt heavy as did my eyelids. I tried to fight against it and answer his kisses he was placing along my lips and cheeks.

'I love you so much…' but I wasn't sure if he heard me as sleep won out and felt my mind drift away, feeling more complete than I ever had.
