Chapter 25 - Revelations

April

I had been staring at the ceiling for the last 30 minutes. The weight of Ethan's words from last night still seemed heavy on my chest. I should have known there was something more to Nicholas's actions and realised this was more than him just wanting some strong female mate for his son. I wondered now whether any of my former pack had survived, I was always led to believe they had all died, wiped out in a single night. It's not as though I had actually seen anything, I was only a pup when my mom made me run. It had me also wondering; if I was so integral to his father's plans, why didn't Hunter show more interest? Not that I actually wanted him to, I preferred that he never spoke or looked at me. Now that I really thought about it, that night he came to mark me, it was as though I was a chore to get out of the way. He didn't eye me with lust, it was contempt, as though I was keeping him from something.

The other weight on my chest was quite literal. Ethan's face was snuggled up on it with his arm draped over my waist. I stroked his silky hair back, enjoying the contented, sleepy sighs escaping his lips. The pleasure those lips had given me yesterday was beyond my wildest dreams. 

Maybe I could return the favour this morning? 

I wanted to do something that would get me out of my thoughts and I'm sure seeing him, fully, for the first time would definitely be a distraction. I hadn't really ever seen a man before, not this close up at least. I had no idea what I was doing either, but August was encouraging me forward, telling me to follow our instincts. I gently rolled us over so he was on his back and quietly straddled him. I had slept in his long sleeved t-shirt and my lace panties after my shower last night and he had kept his underwear on. I slipped off my shirt, leaving my chest bare above him. Lightly stroking his chest and letting my nails scratch gently against his skin, he started to stir awake. I could feel his length pressed against my barely covered folds and I'm sure the sensation was helping him wake up.

His eyes started to flutter open "hhmmm, April?..." 

He began to blink rapidly trying to clear the sleep from his vision, to make sure that what he was seeing was real.

"Whoa, good morning to you too" he said, still sounding a little sleepy with that incredibly deep and rough morning voice.

With his hands on my hips I leant forward to kiss him, moving down his stubbly jaw and neck. Peppering kisses across his chest and enjoying how the hair tickled my lips, I kissed my way lower. His eyes were closed, just enjoying the sensation of my skin against his so I took the opportunity to slowly trail my fingers along the defined muscles of his V-lines and pull his boxers down over his muscular hips. As I freed his appendage his eyes snapped open to meet mine, in realisation at what I was about to do. I didn't hold his gaze for long as I looked down to what I had freed...Mr. Alpha indeed.

'Holy goddess…' even my wolf seemed to be at a loss for words at the sight of his huge erection.

I reached out to touch his glistening tip, already catching it's peppery, musky scent making my mouth water. 

His own hand halted me "you don't have to just because of yesterday, I don't want you to feel pressured."

I chuckled lightly down at him "I'm not, I'm doing it because I want to...and I'm a little curious" I could already feel my face heating a little.

"Don't worry, I'll tell you what feels good. Go with your instincts, let your wolf guide you. Just don't squeeze the boys, some women do it thinking it feels good and it definitely doesn't...they're pretty sensitive" he said with a sheepish grin.

He made a hissing sigh as my fingers made contact with his smooth tip and I marveled at the velvet-like feel of his shaft. He was obviously circumcised, as most wolf males were in a practice dating back centuries, leaving his sensitive head open fully to my touch. I trailed my thumb over him, spreading the silky precum around. He grasped my hand, moving it up and down, showing me the rhythm he liked. After a few strokes I started to get the hang of it and took over, swiping my thumb over his tip as I moved up. His breathing was deep and becoming increasingly ragged as he neared his high, my name continuously falling from his lips as he gripped my thighs. And as he had done for me the first time he pleasured me, I removed my hand and replaced it with my mouth.

"Holy fuck, April...that feels amazing."

I slowly bobbed my head up and down, sucking a little as my wolf was urging me too and swirling my tongue around his tip as he liked. Ethan's groans of encouragement and his begging me not to stop urged me to speed up, as his hips started to thrust against me. His head hitting the back of my throat and my increased pressure had my eyes tearing and mouth spluttering slightly, but I held strong wanting to taste him fully. I could feel as he spasmed about to come and tried to move away from me thinking I didn't want him to explode down my throat, but I grasped his hips to keep him in place 

'Don't, I want you' I mind-linked, letting him know I wanted all of him.

He came with a feral growl from both him and his wolf as he collapsed back, shaking slightly and heaving. I made sure to suck his member clean and pull his boxers up before settling to straddle his waist again, stroking his chest and abs as he came down from his climax.

"Did I do ok then?" I teased, flashing him my doe-eyes knowing what it did to him.

"Better...than anything...I've ever felt" he strained out between breaths.

He sat up, kissing me with such adoration and passion he almost took my own breath away. He rested his forehead against mine as we embraced, nuzzling me gently, just enjoying our skin being in contact with the other's warmth. 

'I want to take you out tonight, on a date. Just us, for dinner. Will you go with me?' I heard his voice float through my mind.

'Was I that good on my first try?' I teased.

'Yes, but I wanted to take you out before that' I could feel his smile against my cheek.

'I'd love to go on a date with you, I take it you're not going to tell me where?'

'Absolutely not!' he laughed with that wonderful big, dimpled smile 'all I will tell you, is to put on a nice dress.'

With that he kissed me a final time and headed off into the bathroom to get ready, leaving me to lounge in bed. He emerged half an hour later completely naked with slightly damp hair making me almost choke at the sight.

"You've seen the goods, no point in hiding 'em away anymore" he smirked at me as he moved to the closet to get dressed.

"I was thinking today if you wanted" he called as he got dressed "did you want to go to training? There's a class mid-day, but if you'd prefer I can ask Bryce or Jude to train you personally this morning" he came out to sit on the bed near me "I know you've never trained properly, so some one-on-one might make you a little more comfortable."

The idea of training in front of others was a little daunting. As an Alpha and a future Luna of this pack I felt like there might be certain expectations on my skills. While I knew I was fast and stealthy, my only real skill was to strike with speed and run away. That wouldn't be much help if I had to face a direct confrontation and with the threat of Alpha Nicholas still looming over me, the sooner I learnt to fight properly the better.

"Ok, can I learn just one-on-one? I don't want the whole pack seeing I don't know what I'm doing."

He lifted my chin up to meet his gaze "you're already such a fighter, don't doubt yourself. I just wish I could train you myself but the mate bond will get in the way, I won't be able to push you how you need."

"Plus you'd get distracted staring at my legs the whole time" I teased, which in turn caused him to actually start staring at my bare legs, humming in agreement and swallowing hard.

"One track mind, I swear!" I said, laughing at his sweet pink cheeks.

I got up to get ready, I hadn't thought to buy any athletic clothing yesterday but Ethan assured me there would be things I could change into at the training building. So I opted for a simple skirt, sweater and thick stockings till I could change...I really needed to find some long pants.

My mate had breakfast waiting for me and said that Bryce was happy to train me as much as I wanted and whenever I wanted, I just had to mind-link him as and when. It was still a learning curve for me to get used to using mind-link, having no pack for so long I had never used it much. The rogue I had traveled with briefly those years ago was the first wolf I had ever mind-linked, when he taught me how to hunt a little. Since then I had never used it till Ethan and I now had a whole pack I could communicate with at any time.

He walked me down to the training centre to show me the way, insisting I wear his coat saying it'd be warmest for me...it wasn't. It was just covered in his scent which would now be all over me, scenting me as his mate...as though anyone actually needed telling, but if it calmed his possessive Alpha side then fine. After handing me some work out clothes and a quick kiss goodbye, he left to see his Beta and Gamma to go over some pack business.

Entering the private training room, Bryce was stood waiting for me with a gentle smile.

"Hey Luna, it's good to see you again" he nodded his head respectfully "shall we get started?"
